Chichester SUP Club

Chichester SUP Club welcomes you. We run this social group on Thursday evenings usually on the Chichester Canal. Meeting at Hunston, we paddle to the Richmond Pub or the Canal Cafe for a drink and social gathering. Additionally, we will be organising some social paddles at other venues, so that members can experience new locations with the support of the group. This is a great opportunity for paddlers of all levels and abilities to meet up and improve their skills and try out each others kit. We welcome new paddlers who wish to hire kit from us for the sessions, as well as those who have their own boards.

For paddlers with their own kit, you can pay a one-off payment of £50 for unlimited social evenings for the 2019 season. In addition, you will receive a complimentary Chichester SUP Club hoody, worth £25 (perfect for those chilly evenings paddling back from the pub). This membership will entitle you to a 20% discount on all of our other trips and events, such as River Arun adventures, SUP safety, race and SUP fitness sessions. For those who don’t want a hoody, the cost will be £40 for the season.

For paddlers without their own kit, hire boards are available for the reduced price of £15 for the sessions. This will include, board, paddle, buoyancy aid and license for the evening. Wetsuits and boots are available for an additional £5 for the session.

For those who don’t want to join up for the season and have their own kit, the cost is just £5 for the sessions.

*Please note that a license is required to paddle on the Chichester Canal. When paddling with us for the social events you are covered by our licenses. However, if you wish to paddle independently please contact Chichester Canal to buy a license.

If anyone would like to buy a Chichester SUP Club hoody, these are available for £25 each, in different sizes from small to extra large, blue or red.
