Chichester SUP Club
Chichester SUP Club meets every Thursday evening in the warmer months, where we offer a reduced price hire of our Hatha paddleboards. Meeting at Hunston Pontoon, we paddle board to the canal basin and stop at the Richmond pub for a drink and chat, before paddling back. The social evenings are a great opportunity to meet other paddlers, gain confidence while paddle boarding with a group, improve your paddle board skills and try out different kit. Once the evenings start to draw in, we can experience the canal from a unique perspective with head torches and glow paddles.
Keep an eye on our TJBoardhire Facebook page for details of the different events that we run throughout the season.
A few Chichester SUP Club members feeling festive on our Santa SUP on Chichester Canal, stopping at the canal café for mulled wine and mince pies.
A spooky Halloween paddle on Chichester Canal, stopping at the canal café for hot chocolates before paddling back by torchlight.
When the weather permits, we run beach lessons for those who wish to progress their SUP skills. Beach sessions allow paddlers to experience more challenging conditions such as small waves, tides and wind conditions and also covers basic sea safety and risk assessment skills. Please check out our Facebook events page for details of upcoming beach sessions usually held at Bracklesham, Bognor and Felpham.
PADDLEBOARD SAFETY SESSIONS
